Injection history

Keep the location with the event you recorded

An injection record can be more useful when it includes the site as well as the dose and date. A separate site history gives you a way to revisit your own entries without reconstructing them from memory. Stakphase includes site history as part of its local tracking tools. Its purpose is to preserve the locations you record, not to choose a suitable injection site or teach an injection technique.

Give site entries a consistent meaning

A location label is useful when you can interpret it the same way later. Keep your naming consistent across entries, including how you describe left and right. If your own notes use a particular convention, make that convention clear to yourself before comparing older events.

The value comes from the information you save. An unclear or incomplete location remains unclear even when it appears in a structured history.

Connect the site to an actual logged dose

A planned event and a completed event are different kinds of information. Keep the site you record connected to the actual dose entry, so you can understand what happened on that occasion. Do not assume a location in a plan proves that an injection took place there.

When reviewing a site, look at the event details together. A date, protocol, and location provide more context as one record than as three disconnected notes.

Review the history before drawing conclusions

Site history can show which locations appear in your records and when you logged them. It can also reveal a missing or inconsistent entry that you may want to check. These are observations about your log, rather than a determination about the suitability of a site.

A history cannot verify an injection, inspect the area, or explain a physical reaction. Questions about technique, discomfort, or appropriate locations need advice outside a recordkeeping app.

Keep wellbeing notes in their own context

You can record wellbeing and vital measurements in Stakphase alongside your dose history. When looking back, remember that entries made near one another in time do not establish a cause. Your notes may be incomplete, and circumstances outside the app may matter.

Use clear wording that describes what you observed. Keeping an observation separate from an explanation makes a personal record easier to understand when you revisit it.

Treat the record as something you maintain

A useful site history depends on consistent logging. Check an entry while the event is still familiar, and review any changes before saving them. If you discover an error later, use your own information to correct it rather than guessing a missing detail.

Records stay local, no mandatory account is required, and app lock adds an access step. Keep a separate backup if this history matters to you, especially before moving to another device.

What is available today

Stakphase is in internal testing, with no public download or purchase available yet. Its site history supports personal recordkeeping: the information you enter gives each logged event its context. For questions about appropriate sites or injection technique, consult a qualified healthcare professional.
